Had a great experience visiting this library; it was quiet, had tables and cubicles to study, and a great selection of books and materials to read. Saw quite a few visitors come in to read the local newspapers and a couple of parents with their kids looking for school materials. The bicycle rack was loose, but I did not mind it as I could see my bicycle from the inside. The librarians were nice, overall a good place for a quiet read.
I also loved the outside tables. Next time, I'll give them a try.

Great library with a lot of excellent books and periodicals. They also have computers that you can use while you are there. When I visited they were having a large basket raffle. Everybody is very nice that works here and very helpful.

This library is large, full of wonderful books that will satisfy every type of curious mind; They have a big selection of soft toys kids are free to play with, puzzles , all kinds of events for different ages. The staff goes above and beyond to help the visitors every single time. Highly recommend.

I’ve been to this library twice. The staff acts like they’re in a competition as to who can ignore patrons the most. When you walk over to the circulation desk, all three staff members immediately scatter and avoid looking at you. When you finally get their attention, it’s like you’re bothering them. They also whisper about patrons as if we can’t hear them and are all around the least friendly people I’ve ever encountered at a library. I’ve worked in libraries and it’s not hard to be friendly, nice or helpful to patrons. This library is so strange and disappointing.

Friendly environment for children & adults. Many activities regularly for all ages especially young children & teens. Summer reading program ends in early August. There were so many programs; some remembered from past years, others new, never done before were awesome! Sticker palooza, neon Bingo, cookie tasting & more were worth visiting the library & reading was a plus!
Creation Station, monthly movie night, storytimes, teen advisory board & many other activities for all ages are at the Whitehall Township Public Library. It's an awesome place to get to know!

The library itself is decent, especially now with the inter-library loan program- I'm able to view books at different libraries and they deliver pretty quickly to the Whitehall location. The staff is awful though. They are not helpful at all- on multiple occasions, I've stood at the circulation desk waiting to be checked out and one librarian in particular just sits there reading her own book pretending not to see me. If I ask for help finding something, they respond as if it's a bother that I'm requesting assistance. Overall, manners are just lacking.

Had great experience with interlibrary loan. I forget the librarian's name that helped but she was terrific. That being said a majority of the other staff are absolutely useless. They don't know how to use their own computer system, are extremely rude, and overall unhelpful. Better training is desperately needed.
