Outstanding! If there were a hundred stars available for me to rate The Trussville Public Library, every single one of them would be lit up just as these five are now. The librarians and staff at The Trussville Library are simply the best. Every time I walk into the library, I am greeted with a smile and a friendly, "Hello!". I do not know where they find the people that they choose to employ at this library, but I hope there's an endless supply of them.
When my mother was alive, I would accompany her to the library for her weekly visit to expose her to the newest mystery book or DVD arrivals. Our favorite was, of course, Agatha Christie. There is a particular librarian who went out of her way to ensure my mother was satisfied each and every time that she left. She was as well versed in Agatha Christie as my mother, and as I am now. During my visit today, I learned of the librarian's passing. I took a moment to thank God that this woman did so little for my mom, yet it was so much in my eyes. I learned that they had named the auditorium after her, and I believe that is a fitting, beautiful way to remember her life and service. The library has grown and there are many new additions and upgrades. I was very touched by the memorial that the staff had planned for this wonderful lady that touched so many people's lives. Thank you so much to the staff at Trussville Public Library!!!

We love our library! As a family with a little one they are incredible. From story time to pre k at play, they have tons of resources. They also always have a train or Lego table which makes regular visits fun. My little and her cousins love to go and check out books. Also as long as no one is waiting on the books you have checked out then they will automatically renew which is so helpful. The staff is amazing too! We love Ms Alicia!

Very clean and quiet for the most part. Some staff and patrons, for whatever reason, talk so loud to each other, I'm not sure if they are hard of hearing or what. It can be slightly annoying but doesn't detour me from using the facility because it's a quiet setup. They have gotten me through my doctoral program. Great place to write or study.

Very nice public library. Not 5he largest, but it is very nicely laid out with wide aisles. Multiple places to access computers and work tables/nooks. Staff was very helpful and the library is clearly well cared for. Has two great playgrounds out back. Definitely a must visit for families.

This review is actually for the two playgrounds in the park surrounding the library. They are wonderful and well maintained. There are sections tailored towards various age groups so that the toddlers aren't being run over by the first graders. Plus one of the playgrounds is oriented towards the older kids. Much of the material is little tykes plastic so it doesn't get too hot or cold. Plenty spacious so that there is a lot of room to run around too. Get places for kids with picnic tables to boot.

I would give this place a zero if possible. Every time I go into this facility, I get the eye roll and huffing as if they’re bothered. I get constant excuses as to why they do not want to perform their jobs. I can never find an employee at their desks and they always seem like they are hiding. One employee even admitted that he was trying to hide. It’s ridiculous to constantly be made to feel like we’re burdens to be waited on. I simply needed a scan and a man acted like I was interrupting his coffee time. It doesn’t matter what I go in there for, they are extremely rude !!!!!!! Everyone there looks miserable, which is crazy when the library has so many days that they close. Four days straight, including the entire weekend, when the Fourth of July is on a Tuesday. Stupid. They close constantly for nothing. Maybe they need to clean house. I will make sure to go there as little as possible.

Beautiful library, recently updated and remodeled. But don’t come here if you plan to do some serious reading! Despite numerous chairs, couches, and desks that would be the perfect spot for enjoying a good book, the employees talk very loudly throughout the library, making it nearly impossible to read or study. I thought libraries were supposed to be quiet places?
