This library is a very good place to come and read books newspaper computer and hang out and look at your phone TV as long as you got headphones I love this library.

We went there for the solar eclipse glasses but unfortunately they run out of it. A very helpful lady tried to help us and offered to call some libraries on the mainland. However, they were out of reach for us.
As we left the building the lady followed us and offered her solar eclipse glass to us for free.
This very kind action made our holiday unforgettable as we were able now to see the particular solar eclipse. Thank you so much for your help, we'll keep you, Miami Beach and their friendly inhabitants definitely good in our minds 🙂

Undoubtedly one of the better libraries in the system if you are looking for available computers, fast WiFi, and nice work spaces. The bathrooms are private single seaters, always clean. Super friendly and helpful staff

It's quite small, so the selection of books is not so great. That said, the staff will gladly order you anything in the system and have it for you the next day (if available).

They have a dedicated area for toddlers. It's fairly common to have multiple kids playing and singing learning songs during the day. So if silence is your thing, this is probably not the best place for you. Those types of things rarely last for longer than 30 or 45 minutes.

There is no dedicated teen section, and no gaming station as in the larger library twenty blocks or so north.

All in all if you are on the beach this is the better or the two.

Laziness, that's what I see! 4 computers out of 16 working! They said because of safe distance. BS!!! If they will activate 4 more computers, distance would be 10ft! But they gonna be happy work in empty library! Shame, I can't post photo!

Nice library with a good selection of DVDs and plenty of computers available. The only problem they have is that many homeless people go there and they smell terrible. Homeless people who smell like urine and are very dirty should not be allowed inside the library.
