My baptism into the Blasco Library was nothing but terrific! I received my new Library card with ease. The woman at tge front desk was pleasant, patient, and welcoming. The 2nd floor Computer Lab attendant was the opposite: engaged with a coworker the entire time I was there as I fumbled through logging on the computer and printing, and problem-solving all on my own and for the first tine. He just spoke about politics with his coworker. Successful experience overall. If you need a computer, politics free engaging and technical Lab attendant, please give me a call!

The Erie County Library is one of my favorite places to go. It's beautiful inside with endless resources for all ages. There is an enormous music section that I frequent that is always stocked with newer release CD's and also older treasures. I love taking my kids there. It's a great atmosphere for a family. The Erie Maritime Museum is in the same building and worth a look. I recommend anyone pay a visit to this beautiful library.

Most impressive public library I've ever seen. Must see! University quality and construction with views overlooking the water. Wide selection - books, movies of course but also a 3D printing lab, recording studio, sewing machines, Cricuts, and much more. You can even check out fishing poles! This library serves as a model to others - be ahead of the curve and innovative and attract the community again. Seriously wish I lived there and could have a card.

Co located in front of the library is the 911 memorial as well as memorial to Brigadier General Strong Vincent a local hero during the United States Civil war , there is several schools named in his honor and monuments to this American military officer , I love history and this man is some good local history .

It is a great public library. The staff is friendly and helpful. Parking is convenient. The library has a cool bike rack with a pump and a few tools for adjustments if needed. There is a little cafe there but is wasn’t open at the time I was there, a posting of the hours of operation would be helpful but then again it is not that big of a deal since it was obvious and I could have asked a staff member but did not. The WiFi worked good and was easy to connect to without a hassle. All in all it is a great community library and is an asset to Erie and the surrounding area.

Large library located on Lake Erie and adjacent to the Maritime Museum. The large windows offer natural lighting within the library plus views of olden time boats on Lake Erie. There
is a used bookshop/giftshop with friendly staff, an encloses teen area, an audio recording room, and a 2nd floor. Really not a bad stop for a tourist or a local who wants to quietly enjoy their day.

I called in to ask if I could donate some books I no longer wanted. The library said they would take them and told me how to drop them off. The process was very easy!
