It's an average library by American standards. The exterior of the building is sizable, and the interior is not that small either, but the way this building is configured is unimaginative for a library.

The folks at the 'Computer Centre' were quite helpful and allowed me to use the machine without a library card (you can ask for a guest pass).

The issue that really makes this branch not so pleasant to be at is there is a considerably large number of drug-addicted and homeless population. I also noticed quite a few young guys "dealing" in narcotics outside the library (parking lot area).

There is this constant odour from the "reefer", not just in the lobby but also inside the library hall.

The Clark County Library stands out with its impressive building structure, which is both welcoming and spacious. One of the highlights is the large computer room, equipped with numerous computers available for public use. Each session allows for approximately 90 minutes of usage, which is quite generous for library standards, making it a great resource for those needing internet access or to work on personal projects.

However, there are significant drawbacks that affect the overall experience at the library. A major issue is the pervasive odor throughout the facility, primarily attributed to the presence of a large number of homeless individuals who use the library, its restrooms, and the surrounding areas. During the summer months, the situation reportedly worsens, with tents lining the streets near the library, which not only contributes to the smell but also to a sense of insecurity among other patrons.

This environment detracts from what could otherwise be a pleasant and productive visit. The smell is particularly disruptive, making it difficult for visitors to concentrate or even enjoy their time there. Furthermore, the presence of a significant homeless population can make some patrons feel unsafe, which is a concern for both comfort and security.

The city should consider implementing measures to address these issues. Until then, while the Clark County Library offers valuable services and amenities, the current conditions significantly mar the experience.

Library looks quite nice from the outside but the parking lot was heavily occupied by homeless people doing their ablutions and eyeing people to see who they could ask for money. Even the inside lobby/courtyard had a few old hobos loitering which raised the suspicions of the security guards but they didn't seem too bothered by their presence.

This glamorous city seems to be full of rough-sleeping, drug-addicted, public defecators, like any leftist radical, Democrat controlled jurisdiction. However, unlike most "pRoGrEsSiVe" places, one doesn't run into too many über-tattooed degens drinking in bars decorated with gay pride flags.

So yeah..anyway, the library is not too shabby.

I enjoyed participating in the 2025 Las Vegas Authors and Artists Fair at the Clark County Library. These events benefit the local community. I hope to see more of these events at this library and others.

The only suggestion I have: something needs to be done about the homeless encampment by the parking lot and the heavy homeless presence inside the library.

Very spacious and plenty of parking..
Very detailed and clean inside.
Many different levels to this library and they have stairs or elevators for you get around.
The children floor was amazing with the whole floor specifically for the kids. Many activities and events to do at this library.
The teen tech center is very nice and comfortable for your teen to learn and have fun hanging out. The teen tech center has up to date technology and teen lounge. The adults and computer section was all accessible. Many bathrooms and wheelchair access. You can you do so much at this library.
The community is fortunate for a beautiful place like this library in the neighborhood.

Would have been a great place to learn and seek knowledge for those who have no access for it. Unfortunately, it's a place to charge phones, cool down during the summer, or maybe this is year round , by homeless people. Sadly it's out of control. If this place doesn't do anything about it, it might as well close down. Who knows. I feel bad for the staff because they have to deal with that typical homeless stench and some incidental crazies.

I went to get a library card today. It was the first time I'd been in that particular building. The layout of the library was easy to navigate. I was quickly assisted by a very professional and polite staff member who clearly was very knowledgeable.
It was very clean and quiet. There was nothing negative about my experience. I definitely recommend.

I really dislike how all the homeless have basically taken over the entire surroundings of this beautiful library. It's almost scary to walk in. It wasn't like this a year ago. Now, it's covered with homeless camps all over the sidewalks leading to the building, sleeping on the sidewalks, and jumping out of the corners. It's a shame, really.
