Love this library. Fantastic space and awesome team taking care of this place, but a couple things can be improved upon.
1. This place doubles as a homeless shelter - the city needs to designate a separate space for the homeless, as they sleep in seating and study areas - watch your belongings.
2. Some individuals are constantly on the phone making unreasonable noise whilst others read and/or study.
3. As remote work becomes a reality, it would be awesome if this library can add more private pods for calls! Those are really cool.

Thanks to the Burlington Central Library team!! We appreciate you.

This is a big building with two storeys. There are plenty of books, novels, computers, rooms for meeting, lecture, zoom class, etc. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Activities for the month of November are well publicized. Well known speakers are coming and that draws a crowd all the time.

One of the standout features of this library is its quiet and comfortable reading areas. They provide a peaceful environment that's perfect for immersing oneself in a good book or focusing on work. The library also offers free Wi-Fi, which is a great advantage for those who need to stay connected.

The children's section is vibrant and engaging, filled with colorful books and interactive learning materials. It's clear that the library puts a lot of effort into fostering a love of reading in the younger generation.

I go here often to use the makerspace. I love all the things I can make there and Chris and Patrick are always very helpful. I recently started reading more and am very glad to have my library with lots of books to choose from.

The staffs are really helpful and nice. The library is clean -- the cleaning crews must do an excellent job every single day!

I am taking one star out though, because of some people who use this library as if this space is his personal one - constantly talking over the phone(like talking over hours), making noises, etc. This is not a cafe, and this type of behavior is just out of manner for other users. I hope that the staffs can alert that this is public place, and quietness is really appreciated.

And the library is really cold during the summer. So do prepare an extra sweater with you.

It's been 6 years since I've worked from this library. I was really looking forward to being back there today! It's typically been a quiet space. Not today.

The lady at the shared table was on her phone, talking. When I politely asked her (after 5 min) to step away bc it was distracting, she didn't leave. Eventually she left and when she returned she apologized for snapping at me, then said I shouldn't tell her what to do and insisted on telling me what I shouldn't have done. ‍♀️ when I asked the help desk to clarify if ppl are allowed to talk on their phones at the library, she said yes they are. What's the difference between the library and the coffee shop?Today's experience has deterred me from using this space again in the future. Sadly, it's not my first choice anymore.
