Kind and respectful people here. The upstairs is completely devoted to young children. My kids absolutely love coming here. There are even planned events hosted here at the same time every week and they are customized for specific age groups, but open to children of all ages.

I have been going to the Bloomsburg Library for four years. Never an issue until two days ago. I was doing important things on the computer and I was only on for an hour and was told I soon had to get off. Now mind you there were not any ppl waiting to get online. Never out of the four years was I asked to log off. I just found out that they have allowed other ppl to be on for 8 hours. I don't like the guy that was working. He always has a pissed off look on his face. That's ok I can find somewhere else to go!

AMMON YOUNG is our fabulous new library director! In the short time since his hire (Dec 2024), he has eliminated fees and implemented a library cross borrowing feature. I’m now reading a book from the Columbia Traveling Library I’ve been wanting to read for months.
But the best thing he has brought is the warmth and caring feeling emanating from the library.. leaving it open on snowy days for those looking for a warm place to read.

ANGELS ON DISGUISE ❤️. My Internet was cut off mid work day☹️ I work from home for a corporation. I was in distress to say the least!!. I called the library asked to speak to the manager told her my situation she stated I can come to the library to do my work and use their internet. I thought their generosity ended there but it didn't. Because of my line of work I need to be somewhere quiet they let me use a conference room and move all of my equipment and use their internet . I was on the clock and nervous I had my double monitors with me and laptop but in a frantic rush I left my keyboard and mouse? home.But know worries the library staff let me use a mouse and keyboard ?!!!. I completed 8hr shift at the library tucked away In a conference room no one bothered me while working it was beyond professional they really saved the day today and I am Greatful!!!! Ohhhh more thing upon leaving the manager siad I can always come back?

It's a joy to have a library within a couple blocks from my apartment. The library has a lot of activities year round. Historical society holds meetings there which are open to the public. The offer Movie nights and have a large collection of DVDs that are available to borrow. They offer the use of hot spots where you can access the internet for a few dollars a week. Reading programs for children and so much more. It's a great addition to the town.

Really nice and peaceful there! Great place for work to be done and friendly staff too, many different types of book from kids to young adult books and so on.
