We are so lucky to live less than a mile from our local library. Before getting our library card, it had been YEARS since I went to a local library. The abundance of programs and resources at Abington Community Library for children is unlike anything I remember. I have also enjoyed their other unique offerings like activity kits for adults. Our time here has been a great way to bond and bring new material home for story time. The variety of items available to borrow is incredible, and my kids make a whole afternoon out of playing and choosing their next haul. The Gertrude Hawk chocolate for sale at the checkout counter doesn’t hurt either! 5 stars for our local Librarians!!

Wow! I love this library! A large selection of books for adults, teens and children alike. Worthy to go hang out & see what is happening on the calendar as they have lots of activities always going on. Staff are always just wonderful- ready and willing to help, professional but completely friendly. I also love walking around and seeing the different art work each month. Something for everyone to enjoy!

The staff is above and beyond excellent.
Massive selection of books and magazines.

The kids' section has a great amount of variety and is broken down by reading ability/age, which simplifies the selection process.

The multiple events that are put on are also incredibly fun, well-designed and informative.

Has a huge children's wing with large Legos, a train table, soft toys for toddlers, so you can bring kids off all ages to hang out.

There are (free) programs for children of various ages most every day. Just check the online calendar and reserve your spots.

Was greeted as soon as we walked in, instant help finding specific books, the children's section is phenomenal. Lots of educational books for children! Quite a bit of accessible computers. All in all 5 out of 5 stars!

We were meeting there for a beekeepers meeting. Staff are very helpful in taking care to see we have what we need for our gathering. If you need a meeting place give them a try.

Took my children for story time and it was great! Great area for kids. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Wonderful place for the community!
