Dr. Susan B Marshall is an excellent internist with a background in nephrology. Dr. Marshall accepts insurance and takes a personal interest in her patients. She returns emails promptly and even answers her own phone. It just doesn't get better than that. She recently moved her office to the corner of CPW and West 85th St. The entrance is on 85th Street and the new office is lovely.

An actually terrible person. I reached her in error when looking for another doctor of the same name. She was rude and brusque in the extreme, complaining that she had received several such calls and had no way to redirect them. After finding the right doctor, I attempted the courtesy of calling the rude one back to give her the forwarding number. She responded with actual anger and threatened to hang up.She refused to take the number In no way was she going to help anyone trying to find the other Dr. Marshall! Obviously this sad, ill-tempered human being cares only about her own practice and nothing about helping people in need. Shame on her.

Waited 40 minutes after my appointment time to be seen. When I went up to the front desk to ask if I was going to be seen soon the woman scoffed and turned away. Mind you this isn’t a teenager, but someone who is well into there 40s and isn’t getting younger anytime soon. I finally get escorted to the back. The nurse complains about her heart burn from lunch. There’s a elderly person dementia screaming down the hall. I finally get seen only to be lectured about safe sex and slapped with a prescription on the basis of a pure guess. I call a week later to say this isn’t working and the doctor tells me to wait a week, I call back in a week, she tells me to actually wait a month. What happens when i called her in a month you ask? I didn’t because I found a new Urologist by then.
