Smashing IT!

What I love about this Toronto Public Library branch is that they managed to maintain the old world charm of this building.

Easy to find various genre of books with wide range to select from.

Great study rooms are also provided study groups.

Enjoyed the various historical book display, especially the Osborne Collection of Early Children's Books and Merril Collection of Science Fiction, Speculation & Fantasy.

Amazing Librarians who are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful.

The staff are extremely rude and unfriendly providing only the least possible amount of information with no willingness to help further. The library is also dusty and dirty and is way too small for a library that is in the middle of downtown of a "first world" city. Very underwhelming...most books and magazines they offer there are outdated. Mostly it's the rude attitude and arrogance of the staff that is off putting...snobby and looking down at others

Very limited seating and staff was somewhat rude. It was full on a Monday morning and guards were patrolling throughout. It is worth traveling to a library with more space and a nicer atmosphere.

I always enjoy grabbing a coffee and entering into an adventure...each time I go into a library the stress and anxiety seem to melt away...this location is SO awesome because it's located in the university/student district...so it's clean, well-organized, well-stocked and the staff were worth mentioning!!!! Spend an afternoon at one of our Toronto libraries...you will be glad that you did...wifi access, A/C, wheelchair accessibility and SO many things to do!!! Magazines, books, movies, CD/DVD rentals, audiobooks, e-books and SO SO MUCH MORE!!!

The architecture is great and the staff is very friendly. But there is no so many places to sit and study/work. Also, there is always piss odor in the second floor.

Helpful staff at this smallish library. Be sure to check out the science fiction, children's, and steam punk collections. Trivia: This library makes an appearance in the Netflix film, "The Umbrella Academy".

Iconic location of TPL with amazing collection! Even though it’s a small library but at a prime location adjacent to UofT St George campus, I loved my visits here.
